Cooling & Herbers, P.C. is seeking an aviation transactions attorney for its business aviation practice group. The attorney will work on a wide range of domestic and international transactional matters, including FAA, IRS and SEC support for our clients. This is an opportunity to work with an internationally recognized aviation law firm and develop broad exposure to aviation law and to work with an exceptionally friendly, talented and experienced legal team. Hours: 8:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m.

Would you like to join our team of experts in the aviation industry? Our Corporate Aviation Practice Group is seeking an outstanding paralegal to provide top-notch legal support to our attorneys and clients.

Responsibilities include preparing legal documents and correspondence for corporate aviation transactions, maintaining closing checklists, monitoring email and tracking correspondence, entering daily attorney timekeeping, performing legal research, preparing new client/matter conflict checks, coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements and meetings, scheduling attorney CLE courses and maintaining attorney bar status.

Ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, be detail oriented with a high level of discretion, demonstrate initiative with strong work ethic and is a team player with regular and punctual attendance.

Bachelor’s Degree is required. Preferred degree in English, Communications or related subject with exceptional academic credentials. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and 2-4 years office or law firm experience. Aviation knowledge or industry experience preferred. Foreign language skills a plus.

Salary commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long- term disability, 401K and paid parking.
